Karen Massin

Chief Executive Officer Brussels

Public affairs is becoming increasingly digital and social and as CEO, Karen Massin is leading Burson-Marsteller Brussels and our clients into this new era. She is focused on integrating more visual and creative content into campaigns and finding new ways to reach audiences and be remembered.

One of Karen’s signature achievements thus far has been the relaunch of Burson-Marsteller Brussels as a public affairs AND communications agency in 2016. As a result, clients today have access to the best strategic thinking and the digital communication services to get heard, understood and seen in a busy marketplace of ideas.

Karen rose through the ranks at Burson-Marsteller up to CEO, becoming one of the few female executives under 40 in Belgium when she was appointed in 2014. She manages pan-European projects towards regulators, industry, NGOs and media and led our EMEA Public Affairs Practice from 2013 to 2015.

Karen’s sharp political mind and big, bold ideas have made her a trusted advisor on some of the most pressing global issues facing business and society today.

Classic political strategy is not enough to win in public affairs today. You need breath-taking visuals, captivating videos, ‘clickable’ social media posts, and all the rest to break through and make an impact”.
